Unusual Audio File Problem

Hello All,

We use something called unified messaging at my office so when a customer leaves a voicemail on my phone I am sent an MP3 file to my email which I'm using Apple Mail to view emails.

When I listen to the mp3 file originating on my Mail.app client it is garbled. If I login to our Kerio webmail and download the file to my MAC directly bypassing the Mail.app it sounds fine. Also, If listen to the MP3 voicemail on my iPhone 4s it sounds great but whats weird is if I re-forward the MP3 voicemail from my iPhone to myself and listen to that one in my Mail.app it sounds perfectly fine. It is almost as if once the mp3 file is originated or touches my Mail.app it corrupts the audio somehow.

Any ideas?
