Hi,
i just recently got an ibook, which im pleased is going absolutely lovely! today i finally got it online using a wireless router, and downloaded my prefered web browser, firefox. . . however ive found that while using the touchpad to scroll (ie when using 2 fingers so that when you move one of them it scrolls down or up) when i scroll UP often i end up being taken to the previous page i was looking at. so its acting as BACK. i cant work out exactly which action it is that makes this happen, it seems quite spontanious, but at the same time it happens so much that it must be deliberate. id really like to turn it off, so i just scroll with the touch pad, is this possible? thanks alot! Yes, that is extremely annoying. What is happening is that it is going back to the last link that you visited -- like the back button, I believe.
The fix is here, towards the middle: http://www-users.kawo2.rwth-aachen.d...fazz/iscroll2/ You'll need configure Firefox a bit, it's simple. |
