How do I change from full screen with the DVD player? I am stuck on full screen, and I don't want that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Double-clicking in the movie window should do the trick.

What about hitting the escape (esc) key on your keyboard?

command + 0 is made for switching into and out of fullscreen in DVD Player. Oh, btw, you can always control + click (right click) and chose the option "Exit Full Screen".
