I have been playing Minecraft a lot lately and I have been tinkering with it and with java to allocate more memory to play it. After allocating more memory to Minecraft it seemed to make my computer sluggish while I am playing the game. Minecraft runs exceptionally well but when i start to do anything elce there is noticeable lag. My mac is a intel i5 with a nvidia 330 graphics card so it has the power and 8 gb of ram so it has plenty of memory. I have only allocated about 2gb's to start Minecraft and a maximum of 4gb's at the peak. I just want to know if I did something to mess up my java or Minecraft?
QUOTE Thanks
