I'm a student who just switched over from windows and I have some questions about the gaming abilities of my new machine.

Firstly, my specs are that of the stock i5 13" 2.3ghz 4ram

I was looking at a few games to purchase, but I am nervous that my system can run them. ( I don't want to completely waste what little income I have hahaha.)

The games I'm looking at are

- Dragon Age Origins

- Flatout 2

- Borderlands

- Call of duty 2

I would like to know if my system can handle these games.

Assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I played Borderlands as well as BFBC2 on my 13" mid '09 MBP (2.53 C2D, 8Gb, geForce 9400M). I think it is safe to say you can run the games you listed. Maybe not high-res ultra settings but you should be good.
