i just recently bought a new iMac, the newest one available, quad-core and blah blah... 4GB and so on.. it is running Mac OS X Snow Leopard version 10.6.8 and i was wondering if the Sims 2 (not The Sims 3) would run on my Mac with about 4 EP's (expansion packs) ?? someone told me it wouldn't coz the games are too old?? the games i have purchased on eBay, (i am awaiting their arrival) are the games for Mac any help would be greatly appreciated..

About the only thing you can do is try it out when you receive the games. There have been varying reports about the Sims 2 not running on newer hardware and Electronic Arts has not been very helpful in the past. Do some searching here and through Google to find out what others have experienced.
