Are you running Snow Leopard 10.6.6 or above? If so, check out the Mac App store.

MarsEdit is a really good blogging application. As far as games go, it really depends on your taste. The last game I really enjoyed on my Mac was Portal 2, which is available through Steam.
Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!

Thanks for the ideas guys! I'll defiantly check these out. Portal 2! The first one was mad! Is it a lot better than the first?

It takes all the fun of the original and expands upon it greatly.

Speaking of which, Portal 1 is a free download for Mac and PC right now on Steam.
