Hi,

A new search format called search completion has just appeared in my firefox browser and I cannot get rid of it - its linked to Autocomplete Pro?

Any ideas on the best way to get rid of it?

Thanks,

Lee

I have the same issue with this 'Seach Completion' - it's obviously a 3rd party programme which has managed to store itself somewhere in my OS. It appears as a seperate dialog during various firefox sessions. It's annoying, useless and shouldn't be there. I've tried Virus removers and spyware removers (Virus Barrier & MacScan lastest versions) to no avail.

Has anybody successfully got to the bottom of this? I've tried numerous ways, so it's not something obvious like clearing the cache or re-installing firefox.
QUOTE Thanks
