Lost my Safari Icon

i am new to this site and apple imacs, i was just wondering if anyone could help me out, i have somehow lost the safari icon on my imac which is preventing me to access the internet, i havent got a clue were it has gone, i was using it ok this morning then wjhen my daughter tried to access internet she couldnt find icon, many thanks in advance

Did you try to search for it with the Spotlight(top right of the screen - magnifying glass)?

Click on Finder, go to Applications, scroll down to find Safari, click and drag back to the dock.
