Good night everyone!!

As most of you should know, it seems to be some kind of problem related to watching flash videos in Lion, causing overheating and making a lot of noise [by the fan]... I just found out that I you open a video in a new "space", it won't affect your Mac temperature at all. This is useful when you're going to watch a really long video, and you want it to load entirely before watching it.

I only use one space, so what I do is to get chrome into fullscreen mode, and let the video loading in there, then I go back to my main desktop and keep doing what I was doing, without noticing any fan noise at all.

I know it's kind of a silly discover, but maybe it can be useful for somebody.

I'm fairly confident that the same thing will happen if it's minimized. If the Flash content is not being displayed, Flash doesn't have to work so hard to render and display content.

That's my theory at least.
