Not sure if this is best forum for my question, but:

Some time ago, I purchased a TV programme which I downloaded in standard definition, but the HD version of this continues to be shown as an un-downloaded item. So every time I download music or whatever, the HD version pops up and tries to download "x" GB.

Is there a way of deleting this item from the iTunes store to prevent this happening?

Ian

Once a download is added to the queue, it can't be removed. Trust me, I've tried. I accidentally clicked on a show I didn't want to purchase and couldn't get it to stop.

You have one of two options though: let it download and just delete it afterwards or contact Apple through their support form (you can get to this through the iTMS but I can't quite remember where to go at this moment).

I had a similar problem (though mine was a book I found objectionable). Repeated emails to Apple got a sympathetic hearing and promise to take care of it, but still it remains.
This is a feature I believe ought to be added.

Of course, I know everything . . . I just can't remember it all at once.

Hmm, I got a prompt response but I wasn't asking for the show to be removed from the queue. I asked to have my money back given that I accidentally clicked on buy (I have since turned off one click purchasing) and they did so within days.

I'm with you on the ability to force a download out of the queue. There should be no reason to force a download on me if I don't want it.

I wasn't even looking for a refund; it was a free book. Just wanted it out of my purchases, but no dice.

That's odd. Perhaps Apple responded quicker because my transaction involved money.

Thank you all for taking the time to respond.

I'll let it download; it's not got that much more to go. Then delete.
