running exe file with dmg files?

is there any problem running exe file with dmg files?

.exe is a Windows program. it doesnt run on OSX unless you use WINE.

.dmg is a Disk Image. a completely different thing.

Your question makes no sense.

@robduckyworth My bad! I really don't know to much bout running windows files on mac. Anyway, I have After Effects installed on my mac, but the Red Giant plug-ins that I'm trying to install ends with .exe. I have Parallels desktop 6 install. But like I said I dunno much. Any help would be much appreciated.

You can't install an exe file on a Mac. You need to check with the plug-in company to see if they have a Mac version. If not, you're out of luck.

you need to install AE in Windows. the plug ins will not work with an OSX version of AE.
