Does anyone dislike the new Apple Mail as much as I do? It wasn't so bad for the iPad & iPhone but I want to be able to do the things I could do with Mail before Lion on my main computer, a Mac Pro. I can't bounce unwanted emails, moving to other folders is a pain and it's just not something I'm happy with. Wonder if there are email apps out there that are similar to the old Apple Mail?

You can change it back to the old way very easily from within Mail.
Open Mail>Preferences and click on the "Viewing" tab. At the very top is a checkbox that says "Use Classic Layout".

16GB iPhone 5, 64GB Wi-Fi only iPad 1st Gen.

Reminder: Please include your Mac's specs. This will make it much easier for the other members to assist you.

Much better, thank you!
Unfortunately, still no option to bounce unwanted mails.

Bouncing unwanted Mail actually doesn't do anything and is worse for the SMTP eco-system.

I'm glad they got rid of it personally.

Must be one of those 'matter-of-opinion' things. It seems to have stopped a lot of unwanted mail for me.

It's not a matter of opinion, it's a matter of fact. Fake bounces do nothing but create noise in the SMTP space and they're often bounced to the wrong place anyway since address spoofing is almost a universal approach with spam.

Report as spam is a much better option if your ISP supports it.

As I said, "SEEMS" to have stopped a lot of unwanted mail. I'm always looking for ways to get rid of the unwanted stuff.
