Lion E-Mail Problem

Lots of Lion users are reporting that they can send but not receive e-
mail using Mail.app after they have upgraded to Lion.

So far there is no consistent solution for this problem.

Mac Specs: 2008 and 2011 15" mbps, late 11 iMac, iPhone 4s, and too many ipods and other stuff

Dysfunction is offline
reading through that it seems to be limited to POP, and to services that use '%' in the address. Am I missing something?

Yes, it does seem to be limited to POP. Which is what the overwhelming number of users use.

Whether or not it is limited to services that use "%" is, at this point, just brainstorming.
