is there a autodesk -auto cad version for mac..
do i have to run i on vpc
if yes then which version is compatible with vpc

I've been looking for the same thing too... Seems there isn't one. Long ago...I think AutoDEsk did port a version of AutoCAD to the Mac...older OS version....

There is vectorworks, VectorCad...not sure about that....I've not heard good things about that app...so I never pursued it.

i am looking to buy a macbook but i dont know becaue i want to use auto cad on it...any help??

Autocad is a PC program, so you're best off installing Windows on one partition with Bootcamp so you choose to run OS X or Windows every time you start up your Mac.







Or a translation for everyone whose posted in this thread so far:

autocad is pc program....so best off isntalling windoze

I'm running osx 10.4 and apple has not yet released boot camp for anything other than 10.5 so what can I do?
