The one comment is me, I still need help. I've posted this under a couple of different discussion topics because I'm a bit unsure where to post it, I'm not a spammer. Don't even know how spamming works really...
Thought while I'm on Mac Forums may as well request assistance with my iTunes issue. For a school thing a couple of years ago I rented a computer. I authorized it with my iTunes account, and then returned it to school which returned it to the rental company. Our family had 2 Desktops we got rid of 6 months ago and they were registered with iTunes too. My laptop and my dad's are also registered with our iTunes account. That's 5 computers so now iTunes won't let me authorize our new iMac with our iTunes account! We didn't unauthorize our iTunes account on the old computers before we either returned or disposed of them and now I really need to authorize my Mum's laptop and the iMac. It still counts the computers we previously authorized so now it's being REALLY irritating. Does anyone know how I can authorize these extra 2 computers?? I need to do a PC and a Mac. (and the simplest ways because I am not very talented with computers) Sorry please help ! HELLLLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP! missgiraffe Last edited by missgiraffe; 07-18-2011 at 04:20 AM. |

Big chunk of words in that one- wow. May be a little boring to read! Basically I just need to authorize more than 5 computers with my iTunes account. Suggestions please??

Ever since I switched to Mac last yr in December, I've had various troubles with iTunes. Not sure where exactly to post this, so I'm posting under a couple of sections.

If for any reason the de-authorize button is not available, you may have to request all computers be de-authorized using the iTunes support email builder on Apple's page. Users are allowed a one time per year de-authorization from iTunes, but after that, the request must go to iTunes support.
