Hello,

I have a new iMac 2.8 Ghz i7 running Windows 7 on Bootcamp. My graphics card is AMD Radeon HD 6700M (with the latest software installed), which is supposed to be a DirectX11-enabled card. However when I try to adjust the video options in DA2, DirectX11 rendering is greyed out.

Can anyone help? I'd like to try it with DX11.

Thanks!

Did you go to the AMD site and download the latest Win 7 drivers for the Radeon HD 6700?

Yep! Sorry, that's what I meant when I said "the latest software". Should have been more specific. I tried driver version 11.6, then tried downgrading to version 11.4 (the game specifies you need at least 11.4).

If you tried the latest drivers from AMD the problem is likely with DA2. It's not recognizing your card or somehow thinks the card is not DirectX11 capable. You might want to contact the folks at DA2 and ask what's going on. Don't tell them you're running Windows 7 on a Mac though because that will give them an excuse to put you off.
