I'm a recently new iBook owner and I'm finding that there is a huge learning curve to Igor Pro (v. 4.09) compared to Origin. Unfortunately, Origin is only made for Windoze. I was wondering what other people are using for SVD calculations/publication-quality graphs.

Thanks

I really don't have much of an idea. Have you heard of Mathamatica? I've been trying out the trial version, and it is a very powerful math app.
