Please note I am a begginer!

How do i put a picture in my post? The icon above the message composing box for insert image prompts me for a url but when i put it in and preview the post i just see the url.

When you paste the URL, are you seeing [IMG] at the beginning/end of the URL before you click "OK"? If so, delete that because the forums automatically adds the necessary [IMG] tag.

thanks - im not even sure why it asks for url isnt that to do with things off web, can't i just attach an image like i do in hotmail or something? Its a screenshot saved on my desktop for another thread.

Oh you need to click on Manage Attachments, then browse to what you want and upload

The URL is if you want to post something from an image-hosting website like Photobucket or Flickr.
