Hey all,

I'm realizing that I'm spending too much time on the internet. I work out of my home and work for myself, so it's all on me. I'm trying to find a program which will show me how much time I'm spending on which websites (i.e. Facebook, news sites), so that I can monitor it in a very objective manner.

I've been trying to find one, but it seems like all the programs are specifically designed for keeping kids off of porn sites. As I do a lot of medical research, I need to be careful that no sites are restricted.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!
Ed

I'd love to find a program that does this too; allows me to track how long I'm on certain sites opposed to others.

THere are a plethora of programs that track overall data usage and uptime of either the airport, ethernet, bluetooth, etc., but I haven't seen one that tracks for sites.

i dont know about monitoring specific sites, but if you want to monitor overall upload and download usage, try iStat Pro.

Yea I have iStat Pro right now; I like the way it lays out information for practically everything that goes on with he computer, however doesn't it delete the overall traffic data when the computer is turned off? I haven't really tried looking while turning off but it would be great if it didn't
