Safari Goes to Random Links

not the worst problem in the world, but...

a very strange problem: whenever clicking links, sometimes it will link me back to a page i have been on minutes before, even though the link is completely unrelated. (i clicked on the facebook logo, and it linked me to a random page I had been on previously.)

i have repaired permissions, reset safari, emptied safari cache and so on.

any ideas?

I have a similar problem except it is with Firefox. My saved bookmarks on more recently saved pages go to either other previously viewed pages or some legit pages I have NEVER been to like the BBC news pages.

My earliest saved bookmarks are un-effected.

Thoughts?
