Welcome to the forums ...
You lost the Safari icon where ? On the dock or in the Application folder ? If Safari.app is still visible in the Applications folder, just drag it back to the dock, to the left of the separator ( which is near the right end of the dock ) Cheers ... if you have lost it in the Applications folder then it is most probably deleted. If it is just some sort of glitch though, open Terminal located in Applications > Utilities, then type in "open -a Safari"
when it appears in the dock, right click it and select keep in dock. - Simon Rest In Peace Steven Paul Jobs February 24, 1955 - October 5, 2011 [aged 56]

Assuming you have the latest version of OS X ( 10.6 ) you can download Safari here
Safari 5.0.4 If you have another version of OS X, have a look at Apple's download site. Cheers ... McBie " Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not one bit simpler. " A. Einstein The problem is not the problem. The problem is your attitude towards the problem. You understand ? |
