Front row help

Hello everyone,

When using front row, it will sometimes play .mkv files and sometimes not, sometimes play it without sound but just picture, sometimes it has sound and no picture, i do not know what the problem for this is, but its getting pretty annoying, the file is not corrupt I am able to play it in the VLC. Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone know how to fix it, or maybe there is some patch people can download?

I am running 10.5.8 on my iMac 24"
