Hey guys,

So I have a client who has a large amount of images on a network drive stored on a server. They are using MacBooks.

What they would like to do is open up the network drive - then type in a keyword - for e.g.; sunsets - and all the photos they have added that keyword to - comes up.

I know spotlight can do this - but does it work for network drives?
Also - they don't want to add the photos to their iPhoto libraries either.

Any advice would be great!

Thanks!

Spotlight should be able to do this no problem!

Great - how do I set it up?

Sorry - pretty new to this. What I want to know is:

- How do I add the keyword to the image
- How do I get spotlight to work correctly with it afterwards?

Thanks, Simon
