Nobody knows when. The rumors have come and gone about 50 times around release dates.

I just use MS Office, I've pretty much given up on iWork being a suitable solution. Keynote is the only app in that bundle that's worth anything.

I wasn't actually asking for a release date I know apple doesn't let anything out.. but they have updated iLife. So I was hoping they would have done iWork last year. Oh well.
