X11, xdmcp, hp-ux

I use Reflections under Windows to remote into HP-UX /unix boxes that are broadcasting XDMCP information.

I was wondering if there was a comparable way to do this under OSX.

After a lot of googling, ssh connections are refused, but I can telnet in just fine.

I tried X -query 192.168.1.199 -quartz but that returns the error: "launch_msg("CheckIn") IPC failure: Operation not permitted"

Googling that error doesn't return much info. It seems it's not an uncommon error, but I can't seem to find a resolution.
