    Streaming WMV on Mac
    Hi Guyz,
I really need help here. I bought a mac 6 months back. We used to watch Live Indian channels on WMV player before. But after switching to MAC we are not able to view these. I installed FLIP4MAC. But no use. I am looking for an option to play my live stream in MAC.

I appreciate any help on this...

    Thanks

    Suresh

    Specs:
    Late 2013 27" iMac, iPad 3, iPhone 6s+, iPhone 6+, 3 iPods, El Capitan
Moved. Does not belong in "Windows......."

Can you post a link to one of those channels so we can test it? You should be able to watch using QT with the Flip4Mac plug in loaded.

I just logged in and gave it a try. It didn't work for me either even though I have the latest version of Flip4Mac loaded with QuickTime. No video or sound.

I'm not sure what's missing in the mix, it may be a codec or that it just doesn't like Safari. It did properly identify that I was on an Intel Mac though. What I suggest is contacting them via eMail and ask for assistance.

I was able to get TV9, Cricket HD TV, ABN, NTV - that's it.

Even in Win7, I had to install the WMP 11 plugin to get anything to play in any browser except IE.

It very well could be drm'd content that's not going to play without WMP 11 as the drm filter.
I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.
In the Windows world, most everything folks don't understand is called a virus.
