Slide Shows for the Mac

Hi Everyone,
I am about to upgrade and want a Mac this time. I spend a lot of time and effort on producing slide shows like these.....

Photodex - Photodex ProShow Sharing - Tim Holyoake's Main Gallery

Is there anything availabe for the mac which is as or more powerful than PHotodex ProShow Producer?

Never used Photodex, and the slideshows aren't compatible with my iPad to check it out. But, iPhoto is a reasonably capable slideshows producer (free with your new Mac) as is Aperture ($79 download from APP store). There are many other choices, but those are the ones I am familiar with.
