Wolfenstein enemy territory still doesn't work!

Why on earth can I not get this to run? I had it going before. Is there some sort of hidden menu settings file I cant find?
Im running it on a late 2007 macbook (white) with the gma x3100 card.

I am doing everything correctly I know, since I had it working for a few weeks before. I changed a setting in the menu, while one of the mods was on and it will not work no matter what since then. Continues with the continuous beeping noise issue. I have tried set r_fullscreen "0" seta r_fullscreen "0"
making it just a .cfg, not a .txt.cfg. I have re-downloaded it several times too. There must be something I messed up. This game is my favorite, one of the few shooters I can actually keep interest in. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!
