I have a course called Microprocessor Programing and Interfacing in college. We are learning to program the intel 8086 using debug.exe on windows. I have a macbook and find it quite inconvenient to boot into windows everytime I want to assemble code. Is there any mac alternative for this?

I'm not familiar with what it is that you're doing but it looks as if you're looking for an assembler. If so, take a look at NASM.
