Best way to move archive from Entourage into Mail?

Hi,

I seem to be struggling to find the best way to archive all of my emails from Entourage and then move them onto my new MBP - but this time, using Mail

I have been able to create an .rge back up file in Entourage, and then import into Mail. This creates an ugly looking Import system.

I can't see the mail inside these folders though! -even though they are showing as unread mail.

Is there a way to copy emails straight into the Inbox of Mail, and/or then filter into Smart boxes? (without having to leave them in the Import folder?
