When I am done with Windows on my Mac, I choose the Shutdown option from the Machine menu in VirtualBox. However, it freezes up a lot when I do so. I tried shutting down from the regular Shutdown menu in Windows and I get the same result. I am practically always having to Force Quit just to get it to close. Is anyone else having this problem or am I just doing something wrong?

- Currently using a MacBook Pro running OS X Mavericks
- syncs with iPhone 5S, iPod Touch, and iPad Mini

If you can, you should try to shut down Windows properly.

I've never had these issues with Windows in VBox before. Do you notice any other irregularities? Any other freezing issues?

No. VirtualBox runs fine, it is only when I try to shut it down that I run into problems.
