    AVI to Mpeg4
    Hi there,

Does anyone know of a program that I can use to convert all my AVI files to Mpeg4 so I can watch on my Apple TV?

    Thanks.

    Specs:
    20" Intel iMac 2.4 Ghz/3G Ram/320HD, Snow Leopard. PBook G4, 1.5Ghz/1.5 Ram/250 HD, Leopard 10.5.6.
ffmpegx would be my suggestion, now that Handbrake no longer supports AVI, or you can use Quicktime.

Ah ok, old Handbrake. I'm way past those and thought they stopped old versions.

@Kev Mate i was jumping the gun here. Its a .exe file. Trying to find a OS X version is nigh impossible. Its sad that they have stopped support of the .avi container. There Devs are adamant there not going to continue the support. There is some huge name calling on the HB Forum . . . .What blows is that HB was such a good App to Rip if need be and convert all in one go. . . . .

What gets me though, even though it is still only open source, is they dont even want to link us to the early version . . . .

But what Baggss posted too, i can also drop a .avi file in HB and it converts it, so im not sure where the drop in support is ??

Old? The latest official release version is still 0.9.4. There are newer daily builds available via their wiki, but 0.9.4 is still on their front page as the current released version...
