I am currently running Acrobat 8.2.5. Every time that I print from this application there is a lag before the print job will start on my hp laserjet. No other application has this lag in printing and the lag can be several seconds. Is there a setting I can change to remove the lag time in print jobs from acrobat?

Howdy. Depends on how your settings are for the document (resolution, embedding fonts, etc.)

Mellel 3, NWP 2, Scrivener 2.3.1, Tinderbox 5.11.2
LibreOffice 3.6, Accordance 10.0, Adobe CS4, DTP 2.4.3
OS X 10.8.2

It didn't used to have the delay and I am not sure what update produced the delay. Can someone give me some advice as to how to change the settings so it helps the problem?
QUOTE Thanks
