Im looking for a good lite text editor with coloring of text. Free. For html, php, and java editing.

Textwrangler is very good and free. It was recomended to me for the same basic stuff you are asking to do. Give it a try. Just go to version tracker and look for text wrangler.

Wow. This is exactly what I was looking for. Ive been using the free version of BBEdit, which doesn't have syntax coloring. Ive also been using one called Mi. Its really light weight, but good. This blows it away though. Great help. Thanks.

Vim is by far the best text editor available, anywhere. It's OSS too.
