Hi,

Not sure if this question has been asked before but I have searched through the forum before posting.

I'm aware of the Apple remote app for the iPhone to control iTunes but I'm looking for a dashboard Widget (preferably) to control itunes on my iMac in a different room.

For instance, when I'm working in the conservatory on my Macbook, I have my iMac connected to an Airport Express which plays music through a Hifi. To change songs and adjust volume etc it would be great if I could do this remotely.

I would prefer to have a dashboard Widget instead of an application if this is possible.

Would iTunes Home Sharing not manage this for you?

Hi,

Thanks for that. Feel a little stupid now when it's built into iTunes.

Anyway I could get the iMac to play the music as well at the same time?

Thanks,

I'm not sure -haven't set mine up yet... but as I understand it, it's a pretty straightforward business. Why not give it a burl?

Let us know how you get on!
