Hi,

im planning to get a mac mini in august - to get onto the mac ladder and get used to the OS. .
i have a windows PC as well.

im just wondering what the score is with application compatibility between pc apps and macs.
for example, i have install files for Macromedia studio mx 2004, and photoshop 8, but can i install them on my new mac?
can i plug in an external usb hard drive (full of stuff from my windows pc) and copy stuff off onto the mac?
thanks alot
Jonny

you can not install them with out virtual pc, and then the quality is not so good... You have to buy software for the mac AND the pc, unfortunatly there is not software that can be bougtht and intalled on both. But the files saved from the mac can be sent over and then edited on the pc, the files are compatible that way. I hoped that helped
