Hi there. I was wondering if anyone can write an application or script that can pop up a certain message every 10 minutes as a reminder. Someone was able to do it for me on a pc but they dont know how to do it on a mac.

I see there is an automator program but not sure how to use it. I really want to use it as a way to memorize scripture verses. If I can write the verse and then get it to pop up every 15 minutes that will be cool.

Is it hard to do this on a mac?

iCal.
Create an entry, tell it to recur every 10 or 15 minutes, set the reminder time at 0 minutes, set the alarm type as message with sound.
Just do it for one day and you can copy and paste it to another day or allow it to recur every day and edit to specify which scripture you want to see.

16GB iPhone 5, 64GB Wi-Fi only iPad 1st Gen.

Reminder: Please include your Mac's specs. This will make it much easier for the other members to assist you.

You can try a widget on the dashboard
Apple - Downloads - Dashboard Widgets - Tea Timer
Apple - Downloads - Dashboard Widgets - 3-2-1
Seems to be a newer version here of 3-2-1

I don't see an easy way, but you can create numerous alarms, each 15 minutes apart. Select "alarm" and set it, then a new one will appear.
