iCal question

We don't have MobileMe, but I want to be able to send my calendar from one computer to another.

I tried backing up and emailing, but when I downloaded and tried to open it, I was given the choice to revert or cancel.
nothing h
I tried both, but nothing happened either way.

I also tried converting to a yahoo or google calendar, but I couldn't get yahoo to work and the google version didn't transfer all of the data.

Any ideas?
