Use DropBox to share Itunes music

I have done some googling - but came across nothing usefull - well at least nothing that would work satisfactorily.

Has anyone got a good working solution on backing up and sharing the iTunes music folder via DropBox or similar services.

Also I was wondering whether or not the data is just replicated from the "local dropbox" file to the online repository or if it is stored on the remote drive with the associated latencies.

You could install DropBox and point iTunes to it. All your machines that have DropBox installed will have local copies. They will also be in the cloud.
