Windows have Virtual PC from Microsoft (which is surprisingly free) to run another OS in the same machine.

VMware player (free) also allows virtualization but on windows only.

WMware fusion is same as VMware player but it's not FREE.

I'm seeking for a free one. Is there one?

virtual box

I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.
In the Windows world, most everything folks don't understand is called a virus.

Virtual box is great, faster and lighter on it's feet than either of the more popular two.

Only caveat I've found is that it can't access the bootcamp installation of windows...perhaps one day.

Aside from that wouldn't hesitate to recommend virtual box
