I have recently performed an update for Vuze, and since doing so, Firefox won't work - it opens up, and then crashes immediately. I think it might have something to do with the Vuze toolbar that was installed (I didn't want it to install, it just did). I can't get on Firefox long enough to disable the toolbar without it crashing. Has anyone else experienced this? And does anyone have any solutions? Cheers.

Open up Firefox in safe mode and try to uninstall/disable it from there. Open up Terminal (/Applications/Utilities/) and paste the following into it:
Code:
/Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/firefox-bin -safe-mode See here for more info. Important Links: Community Guidelines : Use the reputation system if you've been helped. M-F Blog :: Write for the blog :: M-F IRC Channel - Chats every Sunday at 8PM EST. |
