While Using skype, I am able to make video calls no problem.

When I open Photobooth (even though my webcam would already be active in a video call on skype) it sometimes grabs the image, by turning off my skype video and opening it on photobooth instead.
This only happens SOMETIMES, other times, photobooth indicates that no camera is connected which is normal.

Is this a skype error or a problem with my computer.

The fact it doesn't consistently happen is odd. Does anyone experience that same photobooth interference with skype video when it is launched after a video call has been established on skype?

Probably not my business...but why would you need to open photobooth and skype at the same time?

Of course I don't need to open them both at the same time. I'm just interested in learning and just curious why this happens to me sometimes. has this happened to anyone else?
QUOTE Thanks
