I have a MacBook Pro and I am using bootcamp with windows XP. I only use it for gaming, now that Steam is for mac do i still have to keep the bootcamp partition or can i delete it and still play the games on the mac side? I know they are partioned, but i thought i read somewhere you need to have it on windows for you dont have to pay for the games again.

Not all Steam games have Mac versions yet, so that's definitely something you'll want to check first. But yes, your ownership of the games is tied to your account, not your platform, so if the Mac version is available you can use that instead at no extra charge.
