Has anyone had experience with Intego VirusBarrier x6? Has it worked well for you? I installed a trial version and then uninstalled it because I had problems loading certain sites; I later learned that this was probably due to the fact that I had turned on the cookie filter. In my research online, it seems that this is one of the best anti-virus software programs for the Mac, and I am wondering if I should try it again. This would be installed on a MacBook (running OS 10.6.4). Thanks.

And have a read of this. Whilst a few years old nothing has changed as no Mac OS X viruses have been discovered!

I have this installed on my macbook pro. What a waste of seventy dollars. Not to mention a total resource hog. I don't even use it. Save your money.
