I have been a PC user my whole computing life up until 2 days ago, when I received a Macbook Pro for my 18th. I want to use the same email address that I use on my PC (Outlook) as I do on my Mac too keep things simple, but I am not sure what type of email account it is. I am given the following options "POP, IMAP, Exchange 2007, Exchange IMAP".

All help is greatly appreciated, thank you!

IMAP is preferred if you want to keep email in sync between multiple devices.

Of course, it depends on what your e-mail provider allows also and what they support.

hmm I may have to consult my Dad about this one then seeing as it could be difficult to give you an exact idea of what I intend to do. Thanks for your reply though
