New MBP user and clean up utility

I am a new to Mac and recently purchased the new 13' MBP in May and absolutely love it! I was wondering if I need a clean up utility for it. I have read some good reviews on both Cleanmymac and Onyx. I am a noob to Mac and was wondering if I need a clean up utility on a Mac and if anyone can recommend one that is simple to use as one of my primary concerns is that I might delete something I might need so is there a package out there that will just sift out the regular stuff picked up in everyday use?

For future reference, please search the forums first. This question has been asked and answered many times. I personally use and recommend OnyX.
