Time Machine will automatically delete the oldest backups to make room for new backups. Don't forget to turn on " warn before deleting old backup " so you know that it is actually happening
![]() Having said that, you eventually will need a new hard drive as the ' deletion of oldest backups ' is outside of your control and TM might delete old backups that you would rather keep...... depending on your backup strategy. Cheers ... McBie " Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not one bit simpler. " A. Einstein The problem is not the problem. The problem is your attitude towards the problem. You understand ? |
