It seems to be a recent issue (as of the latest VLC update maybe?). But when I try to play flash vids in VLC now, it freezes. Force Quitting doesnt work. The only way to get VLC back (to my limited knowledge) is to restart the Macbook.
Anyone see this happening? i rule. |

VLC is buggy on OS X, and has been for some time now. There is a replacement under heavy development called Lunettes that, while still lacking in a lot of features, is MUCH more stable than VLC has been in a long times. Give that a whirl.
Standing request for all troubleshooting: Please provide your Mac model/year and OS version. Also advise us if you have used or installed any antivirus, security, or "cleaning" software on your Mac. If you have installed MacKeeper in particular, you are hereby advised to uninstall it. --------- If all else fails to fix your problem, read this tip. |
