Everything I open in the Microsoft Project Gallery ( Office:Mac 2008) opens in a foreign language...looks like French. Any idea why they would do that? I'm sure I did not do anything on install to cause that to happen. Then again...maybe that's just the way they built it. I'm running Snow Leopard 10.6.4.

Because you state "language" can we assume you're trying to create a new Word document? (not sure about the 'Projects' bit)

Check Word preferences to see which dictionary is selected as the default.
